Its good that you finally got a CEL. At least you have a starting point to go from now.
PS, im an expert at changing throttle bodies now. Ive put mine in and out like 6 times in the last 2 weeks.

Oh man the TB was a bitch to get too first time, not sure if it was some thing I did to cause the CEL had rough idle for about a month then cleaned the TB and week later CEL gonna see if I can get the code up and go from there I guess. How's your car doing? Did you have a gasket on your TB mine had a red o ring haha

I though the red ring was a gasket of some sort. Its still fcuked. :angry2: If you got the right tools, its not too hard to do. Angled pliers are a must for those coolant clamps.

If thats what they say. You can get genuine ones (apparently) from ebay for $150 or so. Thats where i got mine and it solved one of my few problems. Never had codes come up for that though.

Just to add, if you do this again, just bypass the coolant through the throttle body, so it it an easily removeable serviceable component.

I recently did a perrin silicone intake, and just bypassed it so the hose goes back into the block, done this on every turbo subaru i have ever had, ill effects zero.

But why would they run coolant through them if they didnt need it? I'd just leave them there as they are no real hassle to take off anyway. I dont really know jack about subarus so my advice is irrelevant. :|
