Gen3 ecu??

Postby chubbs » Sat Jul 21, 2012 7:09 pm

Hello all! I have a gen3 liberty heritage and was wondering if it would be worth installing an ecu? And what would be a good one?

Why do you want an *after market ecu over a tune? IMO it would prob be cheaper to do a tune depending on how many mods you plan on doing, but hey happy for these guys to correct me :)

You already have an ECU... And I am quite certain it is not tunable like the Gen4

You could go piggyback. But for a non-turbo there be minimal gains to be made.. Not worth if you ask me

You could look into upgraded headers if you got money to burn. Not sure of the gains but worth considering.

SOME gen3 ECU's are tunable
but only the Rev-C/Rev-D and this may only be in the B4, not the NA variants

check out the romraider website or get in touch with Matt (Kido-Tuning) and ask if it's tunable.

the best mods on an NA are handling, braking and efficiency
