Change parklight bulbs in MY05 legacy (2004)

Postby eddiewould » Fri Mar 11, 2011 5:55 am

Hey guys, have had a look at the manual but having trouble changing the park lights on my 2004 GT-B legacy sedan.

Got the battery cover off (passenger side) and the airbox thingy off, but can't figure out what to do next. Anyone got a guide with pics?

Cheers,
Eddie

There will be a Grey round cover on them, it's a bit awkward but you pretty much just twist it and it should pop straight off. I can't remember which direction to turn it but there are really only 2 ways lol.

Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.

Twist anti clockwise to pop it off.

Is this different for a MY07 liberty? I can't seem to gain access to the parklight and the grey cover only gives me access to the actual lowbeams...HELP!

yeah im pretty sure the grey cover is for the lows? its past that, further towards the guard, still have to twist it to get it out, can be done with skills/small hands without taking any batterys or airboxes out. the time saving was worth the minor cuts on my hands when i did it lol.

Hmm...what does it look like ? I see a greyish round piece, about the size of a 10 cent coin. Is that it? Because its really tight lol
