Hints for a dummy..

Can someone tell me which colour wires I need to tap into in the footwells to install LED strips.. I came across it once before on here but can't recall where it was & had no luck with a search.

When do you want them to turn on and off?
with the doorlight?
Take out the switch and add another wire to it for the ground and then just run a new positive, that way you won't be stealing power form any other accessories.

Well, fading with the dome light would be ideal but I guess the easier option is to tap into the door courtesy light for power & they can turn on & off with the door.

Check out my profile if you like? I've done that exact mod on my foot weels and doors, it super easy but just time consuming and you have to enjoy wiring
