Installing/Replacing fog lights - MY00 Liberty

Postby an380 » Wed Jul 27, 2011 9:36 pm

Hey, i'm new here so not really sure how this works exactly :P but anyway,
I bought a pair of Nokya 2500K H3 Fog Lights (pair of bulbs) for my 2000 Subaru Liberty. I tried consulting the manual on replacing the bulbs but it just said "consult subaru" which is something i'm avoiding as that could be a pain and costly, so was just wondering, does anyone know how to do this? even roughly?
So far, all i could remember reading somewhere is something about having to remove the front bumper, but not really sure how to do that either haha (as you can tell, i'm not as cluey as others with this)
Thanks, Really appreciate any input :)

We have a 99 RX Sedan, I replaced the drivers side bulb as follows. (i must confess that the lower cover under motor was off as we are working on it)
I undid the two bolts above the driving lights, there is also one on the inside that you access from in front of radiator (aircon). I then remove the inner guard cover (black towards front/ one clip only) this allowed me to access the rear of the light, the bulb is held in with a thin metal clip that is pushed in an moved to side out of way. the bulb has plug. the clip is a bit tricky but not having done one before it took 10 mins. good luck. hopefully it is the same light, mine has a blank on side with no bulb in it
Oh when i go the car both didnt work so i gave them a tap and one came on.
