INSTALLING FACTORY SAT NAV....

Hey guys, about to get my hands on a factory sat nav unit to suit my07 2006 spec B liberty wagon, was just wondering is it as simple as just plugging in a wire..... or a big job ???

my car was never fitting with the factory sat nav from new....so not sure are the connection just sitting in the dash waiting to get plug into the screen ???

Also does the sat nav require programming by subaru to get it working.....or just plug and play ??
