I'd allow a full day to do it properly, i.e. 8 hours.

Most of the job is in the cleaning and preparation/rub back, masking. At a minimum remove the caliper from the mount, remove the pads, and mask off all the slider boots and rotor etc for a neat job. Don't forget to mask off your 3/4 panels as well you'd be surprised how far the paint spray can travel!

Yeah thats what im going to have to do... I plan on covering up everything with news paper so it wont get to far (fingers crossed).
Ive got suger soap and stuff for the cleaning and some medium sandpaper to sand it back... there is a bit of rusting on it

Don't underestimate using brake cleaner for the final clean; sugar soap is goodf or the deep scrubbing etc but it needs to be rinsed off, whereas brake cleaner evaporates and leaves no residue.

Yeah thats a good point. I can just pick that up from Supercheap yeah? Also in regards to sanding my calipers... There is rusting on them, should I just sand until it is totaly gone?
