Help needed for some cosmetic mods

Postby bradh » Tue Sep 21, 2010 8:40 pm

hi everyone
i am really after some expert advice regarding the following questions:
i have a 2005 Liberty 3.0RB and am looking to make a few minor mods to start with, but need some help with the following

1. mesh grille and front lip - i looked at the ultrex site but nothing seemed to be available for a 3.0RB model?? can anyone steer me in the right direction to source one in sydney?
2. wheels - stock standard subaru 7 spoke doesnt cut it, i was looking at the advan Connoisseur range or something similar with the 14/15 spoke design and maybe a little cheaper then the advan - where can i source great wheels in sydney?
3. carbon fibre eyelids - my current headlights seem to have a plastic cover, although it looks like its part of the actual headlight and not a separate cover? is this correct or i am missing something? i know the eyelids cant be stuck on a plastic headlight protector, but like i said the plastic cover looks part of the headlight?? please help explain this to me?

1. Search is your friend.
2. In regards to the mesh grille, contact Phat GT ( forumparts@gmail.com ) or also search and see what others have done. Some have custom made their own grille's by cutting up their stock grille's.
3. Advan Connoisseur is not available anymore. However, since you mentioned 'a little cheaper than the advan' have a look for the Tenzo-R Cuzco. Laps (one of the members on here) bought a set and they look the goods. Search him up and have a look.
4. The plastic headlight protector can be removed, not sure how but it can be removed. Plenty of possible eyelid possibilities. Just have to search
