anyone know how to take off the bonnet scoop on the liberty?

Hey guys,

I have decided that I want to spray the bonnet scoop detachable part in matt black.

Does anyone kow how to take this part off? I havent had time to look yet but just wondering if anyone else has taken it off for some reason?
