I haven't ever had it happen to me so not sure why or how?

I dont even know how it is possible, but after I did a quarter of the bonnet the whole thing was brown and it just kept going for the hole car but it would discolour faster on the roof and bonnet the rest of the car wasn't as bad.

Hey guys,

I have a black my07 liberty gt-b. The previous owner was somehow a douche and washed the car with a scourer or something.
Basically the headlights have scratches on them around the top, and there's swirls all over the paintwork around the whole body. (It makes us sad :()

Another thing to note is the front bar is very dull, as in it has no gloss over it compared to the bonnet.

Are there any products out there to help bring a shine back or is it work getting a detailer?

That rex came up looking stunning.

Out of interest Ham, what sealants do you use for wheels? It's not a level of detailing I usually get down to, so today I tried out some of my P21S wax and they came up looking fan-fecking-tastic. It gave them a really nice subtle level of gloss to compliment the new tyre gloss in using. They are still gutted rashed to the sh1thouse

For my wheels I use Opti-Guard (opticoat professional).

P21s wax lasts bugger all. I would give it a week or two on wheels max. You really need a sealant instead of a organic wax to last and hold up against the extra brake dust. Nanolex is a great wheel sealant.

I want to say this in the nicest possible way because I love your work hamish but this thread was originally started to learn about detailing and the process involved, and ask questions and get answers, but most of the pages lately just have a ton of pictures and it's hard to get to the point.

Can you maybe make a seperate thread to post all your details and leave this thread for actual questions and answers?

Very valid point. I'll no longer post pics in this thread and will remain a Q&A only topic
