Since no one update it,

I just tried my new "toy".

Only for trial purposes, I use my SV cleaner Fluid and SV Smaragd.

This is the result:

Well, I bought me a bottle of Ultimate compound on Friday and put it straight to work. So far...very impressed!

It's very easy to use, and only a small amount to covers a lager than expected area. Minor scratches, and watermarks disappear!

Here's a couple of little vids of me rubbing my hand on the bonnet.

After washing:

After using Quick Clay and Ultimate Compound:

The car is comming up like magic! Especially after applying Deep Chrystal Polish (which you can see the difference again even after using the Ultimate Compound) and the topping it all off with NXT Gen Tech Wax.
Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary… that’s what gets you.

Yeah tell meabput it!! It hasn't had the easiest of lives before me, but for the price I paid, I'm more than willing to put on the elbow grease. :D

Yep, will post pics when I'm done...will be a few weeks until complete though. I've already done the inside though which was a big job.

Went round to Naldo's today, man does he know how to polish a car! :D

We did clay bar then polish then sealant then wax then some zaino detailer at the end. Naldo even used his special Swissvax wax as well!
Paint feels so smooth now, anyway I just have a point and shoot so I can't really post any pics of the paint up close, Naldo took some shots of the paint with his SLR though so I'm sure he will put them in here soon.

I took my trolley jack and stands around so I could take the wheels off and detail them while Naldo polished

Thanks Kieran. Really appreciate it.

Your car looks stunning, even you really care with your paint.

Steps:
1. Bilt Hamber Claybar + Water
2. Ultimate Compound with Meg's W8207 Pads+DA
3. Zaino Z2+ZFX
4. Swissvax Smaragd/Concorso/Best of Show
5. Zaino Z6 Gloss enhancer
6. Repco tyre restorer.
7. Meg's Aluminum wheel cleaner(Kieran's part)

Pics not really clear, if you see some black dot, it's because my DSLR chip or lens is a bit dirty i guess.

This are some pics after polish:

After Zaino Z2:

Thanks for your attention.

Not taking anymore detailing for this year since I'm fully booked right now. hehe. :D

Cheers

Thanks buddy.

As long as you're happy, then I'm happy too.

I like when I can make your black spots on the doors gone plus your bird poo on the trunk using my Rotary+Cutting pads. Only some black spots on passenger door.

No black spots on Kieran's car anyway, I think I need to service my camera.

Hopefully that wax will maintain your car for 3-6 months at least as long as you maintain it. If you can wash using bucket, with good shampoo and use wash mitt(microfibre towel), so it minimize swirls plus maintain your wax. After that as usual, ultimate detailer.

Cheers

Cheers Naldo, you are truly the detailer god of the forums.

I did notice one thing though, not your fault of course.
I spotted a bird poo mark from previous owner on the roof! I had never noticed it before until after I got the car home, so I guess maybe it blended in to the roof or something previously, but now next time I see you I will have to get you to use your orbital buffer to remove it. Man that thing is so dangerous in the wrong hands .
I had never seen either a Dual action Rotary or an Orbital in action before, and holy bejesus when Naldo got me to feel the paint on the bird poo paint mark after he used the Orbital on it.....it was seriously like 70+ degrees!!!!!
I'll make sure I never buy an Orbital so I don't melt my paint off...luckily Naldo knows what he is doing.

Seriously I can't thank you enough Naldo, the next time I want it done I am taking it to you for sure! You can make my car your hobby to make it as perfect as possible

The dangerous part is using the Rotary mate.

Orbital or Dual Action will never make your paint got so much heat.

So if you're buying a DA(which I recommend), it is very safe, not even cutting your clear coat I suppose(even cut, it's going to be tiny).

Thanks Kieran.

No Probs Kieran.

Anyway, if you got your car in rain, or you're washing your car, can you take some pictures for the Sheeting and beading?

Like how fast the water drops or the water is stay up above the paint without making water marks.

Cheers Kieran
