Claybarring the glass and mirrors will achieve the same result as the paint. On my old car I had heaps of waterspots or some type of chemical fallout which just would not come off the mirrors no matter what I used. I'm sure the claybar would have removed it.

Liquid claybar is the biggest waste of money man lucky you didn't buy it! Not sure what brand you got but Mothers is the better of the commonly available ones. Meguiars is OK but might as well spend the extra $10.00 the clay is better with the Mothers.

they didnt have any claybars in their mothers and meguiar range.......prob out of stock....... dodgy eh

chik_25, should do it at least a few times, if not to protect the paint! for me, nothing like a sparkling, smooth and shiny car... so fresh!

Wish this bloody rain in Brisbane would bugger off, so much for us being 'The Sunshine State'! Car hasn't had a good clean in a few weeks..

As much as rain shits me when it comes to dirty cars, come live in mildura for a couple years and a dirty car (dirtycar=Rain) is the best outcome possible

Hey Dan,

I hope you didn't get charged too much for the Auto Glym leather cream by Repco ! I have used that cream previously on my Audi and my Jaguar
and you can get this product as a Subaru badged leather cream ( back of bottle says made by Auto Glym ) usually at a cheaper price. Hope it hasn't gone
up as I think I'll need to buy more soon for myself.

Cheers,
Lok

Thanks Dan, I don't think I'll need to check with Subaru with that price ! I'll be outside my local Repco store first thing in the morning !

Muchly appreciated !

At least I can condition the seats regardless of the rain !
