This is not directed to you Hamish, but my feeling is that some detailers with one option will probably claim theirs as the best, and that those with multiple options will probably push the one with the best profit margin... so I take all the information with a grain of salt. At the end of the day, they're probably all decent products and any protection is better than none.


Opticoat pro is very thick, if not the thickest...and is one of the best on the market. This is supported by many of the top detailers....if it was just one dealer pushing their stuff, it would be a little if not fairly obvious

The consumer OC 2.0 is thinner and doesn't last as long.

It sounds like you're talking about 2.0, there is quite a difference.

+1 to Dan's garage....it will be worth the wait :D

Parents ended up going with the Modesta paint protection from Bon Vivante - Anthony did a fantastic job inside and out - the car looks almost new!
