You will need a full treatment.
1. Give it a good wash using two bucket method.
If you're anal as I am, use 3 washing mits. One for the wheels/tyres, second for the upper half and bonnet, third for lower part of the car. Also 3 buckets, one for the wheels and other two for rest of car.
2. Claybar until your paint is as smooth as GLASS.
3. Polish starting with a low cutting compound. No cutting if your paint is in good condition.
4. Prep paint. Very important for wax to bond the best it possibly could.
5. Finally wax it baby

Now every one or two weeks, give it a good wash with a high quality shampoo.
To retain max wax on paint. Coat car with some form of quick wax. This must be done after everywash.

Also, keep a bottle of detailer in your car to safely remove bird droppings. Spray the dropping with a good amount of detailer, dampen micro cloth with some detailer and rest it on the dropping for a few minutes.
Now LIFT the cloth, do not rub the dropping. It'll cause mirco scrathes on your paint job.

Sit back and relax knowing u have a showroom condition vehicle. :)
