Neglect washing ! Light scratches and swirl effect

Postby Newbie GT » Sat Jul 21, 2012 4:39 pm

Dear guys,

As the topic says took my dads car to Subaru for service and they washed it after telling them not too !

Now there is light scratches in paint and swirls!

How can I remove myself by hand ?

Dad has meguires compound and also another meguires light polish

Very annoyed ! Subaru just don't care!

Try light polish first.

If can't remove then ultimate compound should do the job. Then with light polish then wax.

Subaru paint sometimes sticky, so try on small section first. I never did by hand on subaru paint so make sure it will remove easily, if not then it can make a new swirl.

Thanks

Dude have you ever done a search on these forums for the answers to your questions? There is a whole section of this forum dedicated to detailing ( obviously you've been able to locate it, congratulations) where you could have found this information and where you could go to get it done

No need for pointing useless things out. Yes I did but refreshing as there may be new members or newer products.

Then wouldn't these would appear on newer posts or on newer pages of existing topics?

Tristan, what you're saying makes far too much sense... it can't be right!! It's far better to mess up the place with duplicated topics!

Has anyone actually asked how old this guy is yet? If all his posting didn't imply that he already had a license of some description, I'd be putting my money on 13...

It become's a problem when you ask silly questions or questions that have been delt with a million times before... I. E. this thread.

The actual issue is because you are too young to understand that your forum behaviour is annoying!! No fault of your own, but i seriously suggest that you think about your questions and research them properly before you post anything. Otherwise you will simply be ignored.

Trying to help.
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??
