Don't know much about detailing but as a customer I would be opting out of an ipa mix

As would I.
I understand why you think you might need it, but the claybar would be taking up all contaminants anyway. Especially considering these are cars that are getting detailed because they need a detail. You aren't detailing a car that was just waxed 7 days ago.

That's exactly why we offer two similar packages amongst our whole offering; one without IPA and one with.

Not all of our clients are restoration jobs. 50% are return customers for interim clean details as they want it done properly to extend the life of their paintwork and ensure proper protection.

But as you have raised, our clients wishes and needs are our key priority. We advise them on the best course of action and are completely flexible for their wishes.

Most of our clients are enthusiasts who are very picky on their vehicles. We would be out of business if we harmed or risked anything to do with their vehicles.

For example, we recently had an A4 in on our Moonlight Package. It was an 09 model, and already had early clearcoat failure on the bonnet edges. It was very early, so we only identified it under halogen inspection post clay. We immediately stopped work, called the client and briefed him. We said our best action would be to dry sand with a very soft grit sandpaper, and then continue to correct with compound. The cliet said it was fine so we repaired the clearcoat.

Anyway, we're here to provide any advice you guys might want and also to share our techniques and show you our work.

Just a quick update as we've been really busy lately.

We had 3 Midnight Packages last week, all on black BMWs. The owners were ecstatic with the results.

Photos should be going up tonight on our Facebook page.

Today we're tackling an interior clean and also have a special request from a BMW 1M owner to protect his brand new full Akrapovic exhaust on install.

G'day everyone,

We've put out ugly mugs up on Facebook so you can all see what ugly detailers we are before you come meet us.

Please also be advised that i'm sporting one of the dirtiest Mexicans known to man (thanks, early Movember!)

Cheers

Alex
