About 20-25cm long straight across the middle of the bootlid

Few more

This is by far the worst thing I have ever seen.. It's about 7-8cm in diameter, and the photo doesn't show the left over bird shit

Very, very poor work there. I feel your pain. Will need a good polish to restore the paint.
You should go back to complain, although they'll probably just deny everything.

Go back to that place and at least demand your money back for what they have done. That's disgraceful.

Called them today, emailed some better pictures and got stuck into them. They refunded the full $85, not without an argument though :angry2:

Offered to fix it too, I lol'd at the thought of leaving it there again to be corrected

$85 for that? :?

Feel free to send me a PM if you want to DIY, otherwise make sure you find someone who knows what they're doing to fix it.

seanmau5 wrote:So this afternoon while leaving work to visit another site I noticed quite a sizeable collection of bird shit on my bootlid.. Thought to myself 'hmmmmm, needs a wash, all the more reason to get it done.'

Made it to my destination and stupidly decided to use one of those car wash places in the car park of the shopping centre. All was good and 2 hours later picked my car up.

Upon returning home and having a better look in the light I noticed that the bird shit has left a sticky residue and the car cleaners have scratched literally, 'THE FUCK' out of my paint. So long story short:
1) - how do I remove the bird shit residue and
2) - the scratches are quite substantial and swirly and white; how would one suggest I correct it?

I'm not taking it back to them, purely in fear of them fucking it up even more.

Hey Sean!

Damn - that REALLY sucks to see a car we love have that happen :(

I'd be happy to do some pro-bono work on this if you like. Drop me a line and we can see what we can do.

Cheers
