new to leather seats so i went to supercheap and just got some armorall leather wipes.

they seemed ok but they leave the seat very slippery. will give another product a shot next time...zaino seems to be popular here!

MMMMM zaino leather conditioner is a great product.
Leaves seats stock like sheen but supple.

You should be careful with the leather products you use. We've had a number of clients who have delivered their cars with splotchy seats and oily seats. Granted, some of this is cause by user error.

It should be noted a few tips we give to our clients:

- Warm the car with the heater for 20 minutes before cleaning or moisturising leather. This opens the pores in the leather and allows for better cleaning and balming.
- Use a leather brush. We use Swissvax's horsehair leather brushes and they are absolutely fantastic for leather cleaning.
- If using a balm, be sure to check directions. We allow our balms to seep in for around an hour and then give the seats a good rub down with clean microfibre towels to remove the excess and the shiny/greasiness.
- Please try to stay away from ArmorAll for leather care. It tends to leave a sheen and greasiness that is not only nasty to sit on, but looks very rough.
- Leather is skin. When leather is kept clean and moisturised, all you need to do to clean it is use warm water and a very light touch of mild soap (from a bar).

You guys have any opinions on Gliptone or Zymol leather care products. There are only decent ones available locally to me and i might be upgrading to a leather interior next week so want to give the seats a good clean and condition before i fit them

I/we have never used Gliptone but I have tested Zymol with a sample pack.

It works pretty well, but typically leather is all about the technique.

Ie:

- Warm car to open pores in the leather
- Use a high-quality leather brush to ensure you won't damage the leather yet you are able to clear out the pores
- Moisturise with a high quality balm
- Wipe excess of balm off

Remember that balm can take up to 24 hours to settle.

i had a go at cleaning and conditioning the leather today, it was filthy! Drivers side bolstering is not great. Any fix for this:
