Thanks Hamish, So if I was to layer the Z2 Pro say the following week after a wash, I shouldn't bother with the ZFX?

Will layering a week later cause any issues in terms of contaminants in between layers?

A week late should be fine as long as you give it a thorough clean. Much later then that you might risk some contamination between coats.

Just remember, Zaino sealant goes a long way. Dont slap it on thick, the thinner the better, cover the applicator pad and then use small amount for each panel. If you have trouble buffing it off or have to use any sort of pressure then you put it on to thick (not really a problem but huge waste of sealant)

pad size will depend on what job your doing. 6.5 for body 4 for the tighter corners.

If you have the money get onto the Flex RO :D

Also thought that but then again I wanted my warranty with it. Can't afford being without a polisher and sending it over to the states. They probably wouldn't even send it over as they have agents here in AUS

Got the flex FLEX XC3401 now I want the flex FLEX 14-2 for the ultimate combo. :D

Saw this one today. Classic buffing trails of someone who doesn't know what they are doing.

Are there any good guides on how to use a buffer? I don't want to screw up my paint.

Guys what's your opinion of the Festool ROTEX RO 150

http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/produ ... tex_ro_150

I was talked into buying one recently, at a really good price, when I visited my local tool shop. So far I'm loving it but wouldn't mind a professional opinion, be it good or bad.

Thanks

I just bought some IronX and on the bottle it doesn't say anything about diluting it but should it be diluted and should it be sprayed on or wiped on using a microfibre cloth?

Don't need to dilute it, spray on, agitate lightly if need then hose off.

very nice, you can dilute If you want less sheen on the tyres as well. A lot better then the shit silicone tyre shine that slings and collects dust.

That's good to know, also picked up some Z2 Pro as well. I have some aerospace 303 but I'm not sure if that can be used on tyres or gives plastics a nice sheen as what I have seen with PERL.
