Yep they've certainly gone up by like $30 US. At this price you are probably better off buying direct from Tactrix.

Apparently I only need a 1.3 U for my '05 3.0 A/T Outback, but apart from the above, is there any reason to pay the extra for a 2.0 cable? Will it allow extra/later definitions or future proof it in any way?
Also, the cheap VAG-COM cable can't actually FLASH a tune, is that correct?
