I have not tried this specific approach with the piggy back plug, but I’ve looked up the other approaches for wbo2 logging.
The easiest method is standalone logging mode (see the end of this post lol).
The most basic method is to use the gauge 0-5v output into a serial to USB adapter, and select that in Romraider’s external sensor parameter section. And as you say, this is an option on your new gauge.
The next method is deleting the rear o2 CELs in the tune, and repurposing the rear o2 sensor ecu inputs (0-5v signal and any ECU ground) and creating a custom parameter in Romraider that uses the rear o2 sensor address, but with the parameter name and scaling rpn (math) to suit the wbo2.
This method is very stable and reliable as regards the connections. This method also works with Btssm (both do but the former is somewhat less reliable).
So I’ve seen these gauges with the obdii pass through, but haven’t sussed out the methodology for open source logging these, but I’d imaging its similar to the latter method, but you’re skipping the need to tap into unused ecu inputs.
So whilst your car and mods are fairly unique, the question will not be, so I’ll just google “aem xseries wbo2 romraider” and see what’s going on:

I forgot a third option which is using the 0-5v output into the mini jack on the Tactrix with an appropriately configured mSD card in the slot in the Tactrix, this feature is called standalone logging mode, its very slow as regards the data rate, but better than nought. Logging is activated using the rear defrost button.
For this method you’ll need to create a logging.cfg text file with your desired parameters and put the .cfg text file in the root directory of the mSD card. Back in the day this was made easier using an online parameter generator, hopefully it still works and your ecu is supported!
