STI cluster into a GT

Postby ngod » Fri Jan 10, 2020 11:45 am

Hi there,

Is it possible to put a

STI liberty cluster 'same year'

into a

Regular GT 'same year'

2007?

Would it work, and not require tuning?

Much appreciated all;

Cluster is part of the security handshake, meaning a direct swap without all the associated pieces will render the car undrivable till a dealer level reprogram of the system.

Or see an instrument specialist and get the face swapped from one cluster to the other.
It can be diy’d but its very possible to damage the gauges.
Iirc member hardwarebob has made extensive cluster mods to his car.
