Hey guys, need some help logging my car. Planning a tune in the near future but want to make sure the car is mechanically A1 beforehand in order to avoid any issues or problems.
Cheers,

Sorry for the late reply!
I'm located in Tassie, just to make life nice and easy.
I own a 3.0RB Sedan. People seem to have mixed opinions on the importance of logging, so I thought I'd ask as well.
Is it only really important for a boosted engine or is it important for an N/A car as well?
Cheers,
-Seb

If your super keen on Logging get a Tactrix openport 2.0 cable, and Log using Learning view (Rom Raider). Tactrix interface has an SD card slot so you can log straight to that or via USB to laptop.

Otherwise something like an ELM327 Bluetooth adaptor from ebay can be had for $8 or so and then logging can be performed an on android device using BTSSM or Torque Pro. I myself have this setup to log using Torque Pro everytime i go for a drive and then logging during a tuning is done using Tactrix :)

The main difference between an ELM327 and Tactrix openport 2.0 is the speed at which logging can be performed, Tactrix is MUCH MUCH faster than ELM327, hence the price difference:)

Thanks for the advice Sean, I reckon the Tactrix might be the way to go, I'll look into acquiring one in the near future.
