gents,

i have somehow broken the cable in my very old but very very reliable MSD dash hawk 2. now getting this cable is impossible, so has anyone got a spare one, OR is there an alternative to the dash hawk that will read out parameters from the old plug. ( not anything bluetooth / phone )

- i have a pioneer AVHX system with hdmi / usb etc so maybe there is something I can hook up to display on screen?

something like this?

Replacement dashhawk cable:

Otherwise I'd recomnend BtSsm app, with the BT plug, or Tactrix or vagcom via OTG using an android tv stick with either hdmi or AV out into your HU screen.

those people don't like to reply at FES about buying a cable... so I'm stuck.

I've seen the posts about the Btssm... but I was thinking of something like the dash hawk OR auterra... i have a tactrix... is there some way i can get that into my headhunt using HDMI?>

You can use the btssm software on an android device with HDMI out using USB on-the-go connected to your tactrix device.

Eg an android phone, tv stick etc...

What part of your cable is stuffed? It's only 5 pins to hook up...

The CTS probably won't do SSM, making it a very expensive alternative to elm327 etc.

I've managed to de-pin all the wires from the plug.

plug looks ok. pins are stuffed though. wires are broken at the pins.
