Hey guys.

I got myself an OpenPort 2.0 and finally had some free time to give it a go and start logging. Only issue is I can't even install the driver

I've tried on both my desktop PC and laptop PC. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, installing manually and through ECUflash install. Nothing works. There's always some error that won't allow it to install.

The only time I got close was using openport 1.3 universal driver on the laptop, but even then it doesn't actually connect to anything (not surprised there).


Has anyone had any experience with this issue before?

Check that you have the correct version of java installed. Tactrix website and romraider forums should have plenty of info for you

Thanks mate, I came across this thread on romraider which seems to have sorted it for the desktop PC. Now onto the laptop.

How'd you go man, get it sorted?

Desktop is perfect, Laptop still has issues.

I'm about to head to the states for 2 weeks, so I'll give it another go when I get back. There may be something more sinister with the laptop, it probably needs a format.
