Read/write with JDM ECU's

Postby legacydan » Fri Jul 17, 2015 5:46 am

I haven't tried to read from my ecu in a long time, my current windows 8.1 laptop, with a ebay vagcom cable used to work fine with Ecu Flash. It currently works fine with Romraider and Learning view, but when i try to open ECU Flash(Version 1.44.4501)and read the current rom it will not connect. It asks to select vehicle type and none of the Subaru options work anymore.

Anyone know of any better software i can try or have a similar problem in the past? Here's a current Learning view screenshot

I had heaps of trouble getting 1.44 to work. Ended up going back to 1.43 and it worked fine.

Try a different USB port, I had problems in the past with ports.
