Question I have is if I have my left and right solenoids replaced do I need a retune? One has been diagnosed as being faulty.

No should be fine unless your tune was done when the sensors were faulty

So Dr20 when you flash a new tune should you reset ECU before driving on new tune ?

Avcs is a self calibrating sub system, once calibrated, eg on the second key on after ECU reset, it's then controlled by the ECU and its tune.
If the OCV issue is bad enough I've seen AVCS deactivate entirely.
So if the car was tuned with the issue a retune is advised, if you're on the stock tune, then a retune is not required.
If the solenoids were replaced, at least reset the ECU.

Thanks Ben. It was out just on one sideso i replaced both. There were no common issues that were visible with solenoid issues.

So am i right in saying that the ecu that has a tune on it will auto adjust after an ECU reset? I don't want a retune basically now they have been replaced so this is my point

Just keep an eye on your LV's over the following days/weeks to see how it's coping.
Yes, Avcs is a self-calibrating subsystem.
If it's healthy, it works in sync.
But from that point it's operation is controlled by the tune on your ECU.
So make a regular learning view to check on the health of the car and it's tune.
If the LV shows lots of knock and or compensation, seek a retune.
