Cheers Benny,

Will I need a keyboard with the Android TV box for set up and control or can I use an Apple laptop connected to the Android box?

I used a USB or BT keyboard and mouse as the setup with the supplied remote is a bit tedious.
Also cloud apps lastpass (passwords) and pocket (bookmarks) makes things easier. Buy a quality sheilded AV cable to reduce interference or try the suppression rings.
I'll dig up the Ebay listings for the parts that are known to work:)
Theoretically I can share my BtSsm backups which you can use to restore in your app which will get you started up nicely with gauges, settings & some my07 custom params if relevant etc.
The app can be configged even if the obdii isn't connected eg displayed on your tv.

Do the rest of you still have he airbag show up periodically with BTSSM?
Its not so bad when doing laptop logging but a bit of a pain for a permanent tablet install

Yea heard that rumour before. So you haven't found a way to stop it when using btssm?

Eg this tv box:
http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Rockchip-RK318 ... ING_ACTIVE

Plus a matching USB power adapter like this not sure if it's the right version but there easy enough to make from the supplied 240v adapter:
http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/USB-A-Male-Por ... nav=SEARCH
Or eg:
http://m.ebay.com/itm/USB-Cable-cargado ... 1202829906

Short 3.5mm AV to female RCA adapter:
http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/3-5mm-AUX-Male ... nav=SEARCH

Short RCA to stereo 3.5mm female for eg piping analogue audio to the aux-in...
http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/3-5mm-Female-T ... ING_ACTIVE

1m shielded RCA cable:
http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/1m-Screened-li ... nav=SEARCH

This vagcom:
http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/2016-KKL-VAG-C ... ING_ACTIVE

A basic OTG is required for the vagcom iirc:
http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/2x-Micro-USB-O ... nav=SEARCH

This power bank can charge/discharge simultaneously:
http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Xiaomi-Mi-1600 ... ING_ACTIVE
Or this one if you use your car regularly:
http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Xiaomi-Mi-1000 ... 0760971560

Rapoo is another power bank that is 2.1a in/out simultaneous.
http://m.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_nkw=Ra ... power+bank

This buck converter is rated to 5 amps of juice :)

Been using Btssm for a while. Pretty awesome what you can do with just your mobile and Tactrix :)

He's an old screenshot of my setup. Also reading wideband signal through ECU.

Kudos! It would be great if you could post a brief diy on how you approached the wbo2 via mod.
It was discussed recently on the LGT btssm thread here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.p ... 9p132.html

Whilst loom kits from eg Mooresport and Tuning Alliance for CobbAccessport are available I'd rather diy it since it looks to be about $20 in parts.

Note also the conncetion schematic here, that takes care of the ECU's noisy ground vs quiet body grounds.
Also the scaling should be modified from 0-5V to 0.5-4.5V to give the ECU a buffer.

Cheers man. Basically the same as here http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2805570
I don't have fluctuation issues.

Rear O2 Sensor has to be deleted and a couple of things in map zeroed out so it doesn't affect your fuel trims. "AF3 Correction limits" and "AF 3 CL Target Compensation Limits" if its defined in ecuflash.
Then delete the rear O2 cell codes, and your good.

So apparently my IU was throwing low voltage battery codes due to my battery voltage dropping.

Is there another set of a codes that can be thrown which BTSSM doesn't pick up on?

Btssm logs SSM protocol.
Not all engine issues report cels, that's why you log and analyse the results, this includes keeping an eye on eg battery voltage. ;)
What do you mean by "apparently"?
Was the car in your care at the time? Did you record the code? Was it a stored or live cel?

So bit of an issue with things again.
Vaguely remember reading about issues with loggers cutting out on someones build thread on here ages ago.
Something about the alternator disengaging at a certain point or something if I remember correctly.
Recently had some connectivity issues which I think i've sussed out but now every time I do a WOT pull the logger freezes then kicks back into life once i'm off the throttle. Haven't had the chance to try it with the laptop and RR yet.
Seems to always cut out between 3700-4200rpm.

Any thoughts on the issue?
