Too many parameters being logged?
What version of the app are you on?
Crash reporting enabled and active?

Don't think there's too many. The green bar is at a bit over halfway. I'll have another go with only a couple selected shortly
Version is 1.8.0
By crash reporting do you mean having the submit error reports box ticked or somehing else?

Cutting most parameters right back got it logging to a way higher RPM but still cut out before redline.
Might just grab some decent gauge shielded cable and do away with all the USB connection nonsense other rhan at the tablet and Tactrix connections

Not all engine issues report cels, that's why you log and analyse the results, this includes keeping an eye on eg battery voltage. ;)
What do you mean by "apparently"?
Was the car in your care at the time? Did you record the code? Was it a stored or live cel?

Car was taken in for a service to Cromwood Auto and I mentioned that my dash came up with "Err IU" twice in the past month.
During that month when the "err IU" came up, I checked my BTSSM for codes but none were present.
When I picked the car up, Ross said that some low voltage battery codes were thrown which from my understanding are a different type of code which BTSSM doesn't pick up? He uses a reader from Subaru which picked up the codes. Not sure exactly which one though.
Yeah I completely overlooked checking my battery voltage logs.

BBB

Is there a way to display a digital clock as a widget in BTSSM?
Also is there a way to be able to move the clock to where I want it?
I tried to display the analogue clock, but it was stuck in the top left hand corner of the nexus display (right over the top of where I chose to put the speedo) and was unable to be moved at all.

I added an Android widget for the clock and also media controls, but it's a but clunky and very hard to resize and move around - I think you have to touch the very edge of the widget to get to it.

I was able to add the analogue clock widget, but I could only get it to add to the top left corner of the display.
Are you saying it is movable/resizable if I find the right area to touch?

I tried to add the digital clock widget, but it wouldn't display at all for whatever reason.

Is the thread on LGT forums still active with development even though the creator has sold his car? I was concerned devolopment had stopped...

This BtSsm app, I looked it up on the Playstore, says it's $22.99. Is that the right app?

Rooted my Nexus 7 ( 2013 ) yesterday, waiting for the Tactrix open port 2.0 and Tactrix extension cable to be delivered.

Does this BtSsm work better with one ROM than another? Is Timor's ROM the best one to use?

Yep USD $15 iirc.
Works with any recent version of android.
Iirc timurs rom gives functionality options for in-dash nexus use, like boot on power etc, but bench test before installing :)

I’m running Btssm in my car on an android tv box into the AV aux in on the factory nav.
My haptic input is a wireless USB key/trackpad.
I’m guessing it doesn’t support multitouch, meaning I can’t resize my gauges.
Iirc they need to be pinched to resize.

Is there another way to resize gauges, eg by editing a backup file...
or maybe there’s an available input device that allows the pinch/multi touch?

Perhaps I’ll share a backup online and ask for an edit :)
I’d rather not by another device just for this purpose...

Update: the gauge files are indeed editable, just open the zip files and make txt edits, reload, repeat...
