I've left my BtSsm connected sometimes for up to at least 3 days without using the car, and so far so good.

I figured the best way to test it was just leave it and see if I end up with a flat battery or not.

The boost gauge in btSsm is the same sensor as used by the ecu. IIRC the stock MAP sensor reads to 2 bar...

Here's the Nexus install info I posted on the LGT btSsm thread:

Massive Nexus install topic here:
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=21888

Here's a BOM from a working install that was parted out:

Nexus 7 tablet rooted with Timur's USB ROM already mounted to a
JDM 7" sat nav bezel with associated hardware,
Cubby clock relocation kit (Rev A-C for pre FL ref D-F for post-FL)
OTG Y-Cable,
DCDC USB mini box power supply,
4 port USB 2.0 hub,
Behringer UCA-202,
2ch RCA cable,
Paid apps: Poweramp pro music player, Tasker, Sygic offline navigation with traffic updates, Tasker, Greenify, Titanium Backup, BtSsm...
Optional: wired or wireless reverse cam...

You'll also need a clock relocation kit Rev A-C for pre FL ref D-F for post-FL

and strictly the MAP sensor reads to 3 bar ;) - it's just that you get 1 bar free!

This is fantastic to use. Gauge response is pretty good and very flexible display setup.

Mine took exactly 2 weeks to arrive - and that was during the crazy Xmas period! Expect 2-3 weeks shipping time normally I would say.

Hey guys, I just got my adapter yesterday and started testing it out. Do you guys have issues with gauge placement going out of whack and size of gauges changing slightly after you end and restart the btssm app? I can't get my layout to stay. It always seems magnified after I restart the app

Have you saved your car model to the app?

Do you have the latest google play store BtSsm updates?

I'd contact the developer eg direct via ww.btSsm.com or on the LGT btSsm thread to which I have linked in the 2nd post here.

Just have your android hardware and os software and car model/ecuid info handy so you can add it to your enquiry :)

I'm not having that issue but I only use the app in landscape mode, gauges only as per the screenshot in the first post...

Ive realised what the issue is. Its cause im switching between portrait and landscape mode as im benchtesting my tablet at the moment and havent got it fixed on landscape mode.

The problem occurs when I start the app in portrait mode and flip it to landscape after.

I emailed the developer and he was very quick to respond. Great support, definitely liking this adapter and app so far.
