Is there any love for the H6's yet?
Some of us like our power naturally aspirated.....

Yes an MY07 H6 was the second ADM Lib to be confirmed compatible, more recently a MY05 GT 2.0T.
Apologies it was covered in a previous topic, I'll update the OP.

Thanks BBB

I checked to suppliers website, and, from memory it listed turbo 4's only.

Does it support 6 Speed manual as well? Or auto only?

It's confirmed for postfl H6 manual. Auto will work too.
Basically it uses SSM aka Subaru Select Monitor OBDII data.
First post updated with compatibly and confirmed list.

How good is this? I casually asked for a non-android LV trigger and the developer added it almost straight away!
Plus LV's are now stored with discreet names and dates.

More BtSsm updates published to google play:

now optionally supports wired ecu connection (pyro, fibble)
wiring: android device->*usb/otg adapter->*kkl cable->obd port (*=additional hardware reqd)
to enable, go to Settings/ECU interface, select as appropriate
LV images are now retained in a list for review like logs (xt2005bonbon)
added multiselect to logs dialog for delete/share (fibble)
also added multiselect to new LV list
bug fix for new android version 5.0.1 (xt2005bonbon)

A bug was fixed for certain devices using android 5.0.1
Also included is a new feature to allow custom ecu firmware in some cases. Before the app would just say "Unsupported ECU found. ID=xxxx" and close. The new feature offers a new button "Create Alias" that, if clicked, will ask you to "Enter original ECU ID for alias". Entering that will use that ECU ID instead going forward. Note that this only works if the custom ecu firmware has all the same address mapping as the original firmware.

added a hands-free feature if touch screen not avail: key-on, engine-off, floor throttle for LV. Floor again to close
attempt to handle OTG cable made by winchiphead

Yep the developer is great.

I asked for support for unknown ECU ID's by aliasing it to your original ECU ID (for us with patched ROM's for things like LC/FFS) and he added it within a day!

I'm still yet to receive my BtSsm adaptor though, only ordered it recently - can't wait though! The convenience of this adaptor and app just can't be beaten by the sounds of it! (and it keeps getting better) :D

A BTSSM is absolutely on my list, it just keeps getting pushed off by other things, what I really need is a bucket of money, santa didn't get the memo.

^ This means options for both auto logging and making an LV whenever one feels like it :good:

Is the BTSSM adaptor an equivalent for a Tactrix cable when flashing tunes?
i.e. if I have a BT PC can I flash a tune using this adaptor?
Or more to the point - since I have a Kido tune, can it be flashed using BTSSM?

Price is cheaper than a Tactrix and (obviously) no cable to worry about...

Me too
The ability to flash tunes is in development iirc...
In the meantime btSsm is a very convenient way to log, LV, check & clear codes as well as monitor ecu vitals :)

Thanks BBB for all the info in regards to this cool product.

Just wondering, if I get one of these, is there still a need for a boost gauge? How accurate is the boost output on btssm?

Also, do you leave this permanently connected in your car? Does the dongle drain the car's battery? Im considering getting one of these and doing a nexus install.

I'll check that info.
My guess is yes, since OBDII has constant 12v power.

Mine is permanently plugged and I've not noticed any drain yet.
If not using the car weekly, maybe pull it out.

However converting the obdii 12v to being relay switched is also possible intercepting that wire on the body side loom or on an obdii extender cable.

That said, you are unlikely to find it would make a significant difference vs the natural drain of your battery.
If you are leaving your car for that long, it should be on a specialized long term charger in any case.
