Interesting on the fuel quality - I wonder if poor quality has been a factor for me lately. I filled up from the Shell on Victoria Rd in West Ryde last night (it's a very busy station, so fuel turnover should be high), hopefully a good tank of fuel as I continue to troubleshoot...

pulled the spark plugs out yesterday, found they were ngk ilfr6b which are standard iridium plugs im lead to believe and for the power this cars making they should really be a step or 2 colder. car has been running rich by the looks of the plugs that are around 10k old...

put plugs in tonight went to start car and no start! strange! look at fuel pressure gauge I had already set up nothing... put 12v direct to the pump nothing... tap the fuel pump housing, fuel pressure is back! pumps only 2000-3000km old dw 300, poor effort! or bad fuel!!

this might be causing my iam issues... fingers crossed

Pump relay will be here next week ;)

I think Mick mentioned the bucket wiring is on the little side, could you have a bad contact or related issue?

I'm going to pull it out and check the wires in the fuel pump housing but if say they're fine and it's the pump from previous experience it's going to be a faulty pump!
The wires frome the pump are pretty big and they plug into the inside so the fuel pump then u got the pins that run though the housing with another pug on the outside of the housing anyway one of the pins is getting air through it and I seen bubbles... I've been chasing a fuel smell but wasn't sure where it was around the tank. Lucky I got another fuel pump housing I can use when replacing this pump

update! new pump is in! was lucky to get the revised dw300 which flows even more thanks adam :)

replaced the sock and internal filter!

car runs ok but was still dropping iam in low load, rpm 1400to 2600 when taking of lighty, with cruise set or on a slight hill! ive pulled 3deg from the area it seems to be having trouble in and as of this morning it hasn't dropped.

ive set the fine learing load to 450g/rev but im pulling 501g/r and 5v on the maf....

now my maf capped limit is at500g/s and my engine load limit is at 4.0g/rev should I raise these values?

Raise 4.0 to 6.0 as that is air passing inlet valve and ID1000's support 540g/sec

Maybe you need a complete retune.
