Procedure to save stock rom on 07GT with tatrix

Anyone know how the Procedure to save stock rom on 07GT with tatrix cable and ecuflash? Do you have to connect cables under the dash or under the passenger kickpanel? or none at all?

Disclaimer before i answer: there is a risk you can brick your ecu if you stuff this up. it will not be my responsibility if you do that :)

Now that that's out of the way: Yes need to connect green connectors to read your rom.

Wrong MY07 does not require connecting the green connectors. Source: I don't.

The stock rom is available for download on the RR Site iirc.
Otherwise use Ecuflash to save whatever your current rom is using the GUI big buttons.

I swear I read that as 05GT

As above, MY07 onward do not need green test plugs connected for reading

All good people,

car was flashed tonight and pulls like a rocket ship.

No test connecters needed, just plug tatrix straight in.

Ive done this already for the misses gt spec b
Cars: 98 Autech Rs260, VL Calais Turbo
Misses has a pretty GT spec-b running 17's now :P
