Howdy,

Very nice looking wheels! and great results from this set up, well done to all involved!

I would like to do pretty much the same thing to my 04 GT in the coming 2-3 weeks with the exception of probably sticking with a TMIC (hyperflow?). It is a standard auto at the moment and based in Adelaide- I bought it for the wife 5 years ago and she still hasn't got her licence yet, so time to have a play to increase the fun factor exponentially by the looks of your results! ha ha).

Essentially, I have just been scrolling through the net trying to find a good recent set up combining parts rather than go down the road of MRT XC kit which seems to be the only advertised option I can find in Adelaide re upgrading and is priced at about $9k. Sounds like you have had great/informed help as well...

Just wondering if you would be interested in guiding me re who I could buy all the kit from and a rough idea of how much the parts cost in total (need to compare to getting XC kit)- I am not sure if it is ok to ask for costing or not -sorry! Interstate freight is no probs.

I have found a tuner and am thinking of fitting all the gear with a mechanic mate and then getting the car tow trucked to tuner.

Any advise/suggestions will be appreciated...

Cheers

Its a good result mate.
its funny how some tuners want you to spend 5k on mods to get this power.
JEM are doing excellent work and are definately NSW front runners for good tunes.

Im interested that you say the fmic causes lag though, when does she start to sing?

Also, nice looking car ;)

Those torque figures are in Nm... not ftlbs right? 500 ftlbs = 680 Nm, only ever seen one LGT hit that kind of torque

Its actualy tractive torque in newtons, which equates to roughly 500nm at the flywheel although its not an exact science. Without diminishing the results, I'd say its closer to 450nm which is still no joke

Plenty of Gt's up and around the 700nm mark on here (and a couple above that too ;) ) at peak torque
