Results are in !!!

Postby Khalood92 » Tue Sep 03, 2013 11:42 pm

Hey guys, picked up my car on Friday from JEM down at ingleburn and am happy to say I am very pleases with the results, service and quality of work that these guys provide.

I've done the following mods : vf34 turbo, unequal length headers and single scroll up pipe for the 34, xforce dump pipe, high flow cat and invidia cat back system with quad tips, hdi front mount kit, pod intake, hks 750cc injectors and a dw 265lph pump.

Final result is 221kw atw, very happy with the result and the way it delivers the power, will post up dyno sheet soon...

A very special thanks to the guys at JEM for the way the car performs, Leo for the injectors and advice, garage 88 for last min parts and advice and last but not least Mick (aka dr20t) for his great advice, long nights and helping source out parts, couldn't have done it without you mate!

Nice!! Congrats!!

The numbers are brilliant for a VF34 conversion

I'm interested in why you went for the 750 injectors - seem quite large for the VF34 - future proofing perhaps??

I can also see on the dyno sheet a reference to EJ25 (I assume that this is a typo) - still original EJ20?

I'd imgine its driving very nicely .... 8). How are you finding the spool when compared to the TD04HLA (assuming its a manual) - did the dump pipe make up for the loss of the twinscroll goodness?

Sorry about all the questions, I almost finished a very similar conversion....just trying to decide between a VF34 and Blouch Dominator 0.5R.

Better to go bigger on the injectors and I got them for a good price aswell and may be planning to go e85, and yeah that is a typo haha

It's abit laggy because of the front mount but I like it because I don't have to be on boost all the time, the 34 is a great turbo im really happy with it and how it holds boost throughout the whole rev range unlike the td04hla where it dies around 5-5500 rpm, I don't know much about the blotch, I heard theyre good but that's about it

Told you you'd love the 34 ;)

Lag is overrated anyway

The whole setup just works. E85 will be a piece of cake now.

Then 250-260 anyday of the week.
