First time logging

Hey,

I just got my car back from getting the head gaskets re-done and am getting in to logging / learning more about potential issues.

I logged a normal drive today (no serious WOT) and noticed the relative manifold pressure got up to 16 psi at one point, could this be a potential issue (which may have caused HG issues previously?). The value just seems out of the ordinary compared to the rest log.

Log is here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... sp=sharing

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hit 17.1 psi on relative manifold pressure tonight on a logging run, anything to be concerned about guys?

Thanks.

In isolation it's nothing to be concerned about with a VF46.

disclaimer: I'm still learning open ECU stuff myself but here goes...

Looking at the log (line 1645 for those playing at home) it looks ok and it didn't hit fuel cut - I'm sure you'd notice anyway. Is your Lib running a stock ECU or tuned?
Stock 08 STI boost limit (fuel cut) is at 2.2132 bar absolute for anything above 0.987 bar atmo pressure. So you could hit just under 17.78 psi before fuel cut kicks in.

Intersting, thank you for the information. I think I've hit the fuel cut a month or two ago before I had my HGs redone, threw a CEL (I'd have to do some digging to find which it was again, but I recall it had something do with the waste-gate actuator.

This logged was done when It had the previous owners tune from ChipTorque on, I have since reverted back to stock and will be trying out a version of a kido tune tomorrow.
