Insight and MSR are generally highly recommended.

Pulse and MRT are the opposite.

Scott at Insight is one of the best ones getting around these days. Not cheap (& extremely hard to get a booking) but you do get what you pay for.

A know heaps of EVO guys as well as Liberty guys who have used him & are very happy.

I think most people on here would agree that MSR is the king of tuners in NSW. Especially for your WRX. He has been racing rally cars for over 20 years so he knows WRX's like the back of his hand. Not sure how he compares to Insight for pricing, but an initial tune from him will cost your around $900. Money well spent though :D

P.S. as you can tell by my avatar im biased  but fish around this forum a bit and youll see that hes great at what he does.

Although I haven't had my car tuned. I've read up on this topic ALOT on many different subaru forums.

The only one they can all agree on is MSR.

Who would be better for the EZ30 - MSR or Insight?

You're never going to get a 100% full proof response.

Do you're research, but as others have suggested, you really can't go wrong with those two tuners.

I've contacted MRS and so far have no been impressed with their email only communication. Is this the norm? I don't know where the workshop is all . Know is the price of the tune. Seems I should know exactly what I want and they just want to tune and not deal with customers questions and concerns.

Agreed. He knows the H6 well. Seen a few of the H6 tunes plus he has the VVL tables(instead of just the normal AVCS tables) to get the tune right :)

Don't be out off by Michael. Might be a bit straight via the email process but top bloke in person. He's a one man show off the freeway at Gosford
