While I'm stuck at work and can't actually hook up my apparatus to unbrick my ECU... I've started looking for a spare, just in case.

Does anybody know if the Auto/Manual ECUs are interchangeable in the same year (assuming I flash my manual tune over)?
N.B I am aware of the need to change instrument cluster and keys/immobiliser.

Yes interchangeable just have to ground out the trigger wire for a/t or manual - can't remember which pin it is but can be found on wiring diagram
