Mine if i recall correctly was wrapped in pink 'leccy tape above the fuse box.

Ok, I have the exact same issue.... did we find a fix with B228? Or is it more expensive than that :s
Mine being an 07 also looks slightly different under the dash, so any additional pointers would be helpful!

Fuse #9 under the bonnet appears to be the issue.
