ECU relearning related to the OBDII drive cycle?

Perhaps I haven't done enough research but can anyone confirm that the procedure described in the link ^^^ is sufficient to get the Gen4 ECU correctly relearnt after an ECU reset or after loading a new tune?

Right now I do a gentle run on the freeway out 20Km and back through main roads, but a more specific procedure would be valuable to me. :-)

Ok: I believe I'm confusing the issue.
The info I'm looking about the ECU relearn process is here:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... ?t=2235130

The obdII drive cycle info is more related to smog control sensor validation.

If still like to get more info on the ECU learning process.
Some say drive gently/ others say hard.

Any hard info on the subject?
