Can someone please check this log? timing seems off...

Postby Scribble » Fri Jan 04, 2013 11:03 pm

I am not sure if the timing is supposed to match? other graphs i have seen indicate that it should, but i dont know much about these engines. I have a CEL P0021 up and sometimes stalls in reverse.

Also my formatting may be out?

Car is stock minus some K&N filter and after market suspension bit's. Or do you mean the logging setup?

Thanks!

You're right that something doesn't look quite right.

Read this post which offers some ideas.

Not knowing your cars history such as kms, service history etc, its hard to say where the problem could lie.

If its simply OCV or sensor related it may not be too costly or DIY possible. :D

If it was me I'd run a can of UEC a possible engine flush and an oil change.

When was the last oil change? Was the right grade of oil used?

The car has done 125,000km's, not sure on the oil grade as i have just bought it 2 weeks ago or so. I think it's time to take it back to the dealer, leave it there for a week or so and hopefully they sought it out...

Will let you guys know how it turns out! i've probably bought a damn lemon
