Connecting to ECU

Guys if I want to connect to my ecu and look too see how everything is what exactly do I need?

Software ? Hardware?

The obd Bluetooth on eBay with Torque? Or am I completely on the wrong track

I progressed from monitoring with ecuds via obdII to using a tactrix + pc with the relevant software - which allows for logging, learning view and tune reflashing.
Do both for max value :-)
Ecuds are great but lack support ATM.
Alternative monitoring solutions: obdII wifi to iPhone + app or obdII BT to android + app.
Plx have those and other options for example.
The bad noodle introduction to tuning is essential study if getting tuned is your aim...
