Awesome!

Yep mines defo that ^ version standalone learning view app exe.

I looked up its properties and it’s in its own folder in Programs, with a shortcut to it on the desktop. :)

Unfortunately the standalone Learning View and the Romraider built in Learning View both say the car definition is not in their database.

I have the manual 2.5i ECU ID but my Auto is 1 number off so it doesn't recognise it. My ECU ID is 5252164007 and the manual is is 52521A4007

I've posted a thread on the RomRaider site week or so ago, haven't heard anything back yet on a modified definition.

Also been trawling along Github late at night trying to get any information I can too.

But the cable and Romraider Logger have been talking fine, I'm pretty impressed with how much info I have been able to see, including line pressure and converter lockup etc, which is handy to give to my mate who has a 'box shop, he's always tinkering and looking for logs from people etc.

Iirc you can use a similar (eg the manual) ecu id.
Usually a defined rom with a single number or letter change.

In Btssm this is an ecu alias, or even a generic profile, I forget the specifics in RR...

Fuel learning would be an important parameter to log.

Emailed BTssm, ecu is unsupported too. Said you can do the basic version which will let you use the gauges and data logging, but won't let it do Learning View.

Bugger.

Reading this post for info.

https://www.subaruoutback.org/threads/j ... ad.533576/

We don’t yet have a postfl 2.5i to play with, afaik zero support for prefl 2.5i, perhaps I should try freessm for that.

Ugh, my car doesn’t like something.
I went looking for loose heat shields etc: nothing.
Next step is exhaust leak test.

Or compare front A/F to wbo2.

So the IAM has dropped a little, its adding fuel and pulling timing at low/idle load.
Indeed idle is sounding a bit rough.

Warm idle, fuel learning very slowly rises by a point or two.

It just wants to run rich despite no inlet tract or pcv leaks.

Now the engine is high km and blows smoke on boost, drinks oil.
One theory is there’s so much blow-by it’s affecting afr.

The only test for that (it passes crankcase pressure testing) would be to install a catch can on the sump breather (and potentially the heads breathers) to see how much oil is collected.

Or put in a new turbo to see if that’s the source of the burning oil.

Here’s a colossal driving log:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4zvtnpt82ef3k ... k.csv?dl=0

This is a big cruise, it shows IAM crapping out and dropping to 1.00 to 0.5, then returning to 0.9.
