Hmm, just checked my stock rom and it's the same as below (other than the airflow ranges that peaks at 40g/s instead of 80g/s). Everything else looks the same though.

Andy is right tho – atmo sensor looks like it's reading artificially high? If it' reading way too high then maybe it's hitting boost error quite a lot (especially at above 5600rpm and 2.0 load which is probably high boost areas) - so the timing being pulled could be pre-emptive rather than actual knock possibly?

That's all the info right there in the LV, chap pm'd me for advice after reading the tune FAQ, but I did link this thread for feedback, so he may post assuming he has permission if reqd...

Hi guys
Just wondering if this screen shot of my torque app can give any insight to why my car is feeling more sluggish than usual...
If this view is garbage I'll later to get learning view up and going with windows on my mac.
I read on the app its only hitting 11psi boost and 10% long term fuel trim? Wondering if that was a red light for something?

Yeah, a Learning View snapshot would give a better overall impression of the ECU (IAM value and Knock Detected). The values you logged are good for more detailed info though.

Boost does seem low, I noticed that right away as well. Even if you car is stock, you should have more like 14psi. Maybe other guys can look at other values in the graph more closely, but the most important basic values I'd look at are in LV.

That is stock TBSTI Knock ranges tables

It has had a Airpump delete done by looks of it, with no 'fix' applied

The fix being in the tune and keeping the atmo sensor from the air assist assy?

Can anyone tell me what’s going on in this LV, eg regarding all the ranges looking... whack?

Is it the tune or the ecu ID?

Is this a stock tune even?

Hi Benny. I had a similar issue once with my LV. Somehow the ROM got corrupt. So what I did was get my original stock ROM in RR and copy and paste the modified tables from the new tune into the original ROM. Flash and all good. Might not be your problem but definitely solved my issue.

Thanks for the info!
It's not my car, fortunately.

Just someone I'm trying to help on the FB group, who due to ignorance has been getting majorly fucked over.
He's not even sure if its the stock rom or tuned?

Fuel economy has gone down from 8.4l/100 to 10.8l so I checked the learning view and it's not looking good. IAM is .68 so it's pulling a fair bit of overall timing but looking at the FLKC it's only pulling a little but adding it everywhere else. Fuel is being pulled down low but added as airflow increases. Not sure if this is the result of a leak? Nothing was obvious. Any ideas?

Yeah, doesn't look great. Could it be a bad batch of fuel? Then again, there's not a lot of knock for it to be pulling timing everywhere.
Have you done an ECU reset after the next tank of fuel? Obviously don't drive it hard, since it's pulling timing for a reason. But worth checking if these values come back.
Otherwise, it could be a leak as the next thing to thoroughly check. Have you had any work done to it lately, or anything that could've eg. caused a hose to come loose?

Hi Tom thanks for your input. Posted the same on the Facebook page and just got jokes about Matt McLeod. Been looking further in to it and look like it might be cracks in the plastic end tanks of the TMIC. My eyes are pretty shit so will get someone who knows things about such things to look at it tomorrow.

No worries Adrian. Ah ok  . What's Matt up to these days, I used to have one of his tunes.
Sounds like it could that (cracked TMIC end tanks). I'm not very familiar with the Airflow Range values, but the event that triggered this was definitely a while ago (semi recent), since it has already started adding timing back in.

Sprayed soapy water on the "cracks" but no bubbling so not 100% sure that's the issue. Was at idle though so under boost it could be different. Just got to find someone to spray water on there and check for bubbles while on boost

Yeah lol. The amount of air under boost is a LOT higher (and actually higher than atmospheric pressure). So definitely try it when you find someone.

Wanted - Leak Checker - must be comfortable working in small, hot, confined spaces at high speeds. Headlamp and spray bottle supplied.

Can't afford dyno time ATM
