Have ECUflash from tactrix installed.
Will install the definitions in morning and do a little more reading to try but out the LV.

Did manage to get an IAM reading funnily enough, was 1.00 which is spot on I believe?
mod -> tune -> drive -> get bored -> repeat...

Not my car, but a customer's MY06 5MT Foz, getting an airpump CEL delete stock boost tune from Matt.
NOTE: this is the STOCK TUNE, just BEFORE we flashed the new tune...
Any comment on those temporary DCT's etc, etc ?

probably dirty gearbox connector.

My Gen3 has been playing up and throwing TCU codes when checked.
Wiring plug was full of gunk, cleaned it out, reset everything and the codes haven;t come back yet

Rob: Thanks for that, the mechanic was like "this has sensors in the gearbox!?!"

Without diving into the manuals for a 5MT, VSS and Neutral Position are on the same plug?

I'm guessing the wiring to the O2 sensor is broken, or the sensor itself is dead?

Brandon: I'm not sure about that, but we had it on a jumper whilst flashing to be sure. Any relevance of battery condition to the CELs?

if the o2 is bung how and why would you load up another tune?

I see lots of issues with cars that have dead flat or on there way out causing weird codes to log in cars at work, that's why I ask

IIRC the O2 sensor is a temporary CEL in this instance.
Anything could be the go with this car - its been used well and neglected judging by the tons of dust in the engine bay.
Its at the mechanics primarily for the airpump CEL. Quote was $4000 to replace the airpump system, or block the pipe and flash a cel delete tune.
NOTE: its been reflashed with a stock-like tune, stock boost etc, just with the CEL delete.

Neutral sensor? http://opposedforces.com/parts/forester ... tration_1/

All those codes are because green flash connectors are plugged in. Essentially false codes generated during reflash

Ignore the codes other than the air pump related ones ;)

I am possibly doing something wrong, have simply downloaded the learning view stand alone file. The definitions may need to be dl'd also.

Will do some more reading up on it all and await your email Matt.

Man my head is spinning with all this ECU jargon haha!!!

Are you using Learning View v1.00 RC3? I had the same issue when I installed 0.6a by mistake. Unfortunately Google's top hit for "learning view" is RomRaider forums' 0.6a thread.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

This is the current versions AFAIK plus how your drivers should look in XP Device Manager.

So... if you have the latest versions and its all installed correctly...
Also IIRC you'll need the latest version of Java.

I'm not sure how many versions of Java are required apart from the latest, I have about the last 3 and its all stable.

Hey Ben,

Here is a screenshot.

Image

I've been in contact with Tactrix as I've had issues since I got the Openport 2.0. They advised me to install the Beta version but am still having the same problems.
Tactrix are still unable to solve the problems at this time and it's been going on for the last 10 days or so.... :?

Cheers,
Al

See my post about Java ^^
Are you running the latest version? Use a program manager like eg Revouninstaller to manage Java versions.

Can you see it under disk drives?
What OS is it?
Do your software versions match mine?

Sorry I only know XP... Maybe you could ask Jay Ritchie? He's on 7 or 8...
