Yeah we tried MAF clean, but yes it is an oiled filter.

We'll get that tuned asap.

Don't the Process West cold air kits come with a K&N filter? (not sure if oiled or not?)

I have the PW kit with K&N filter... haven't had any issues that i know of, although it didn't appear to be too oily...

Not familiar with the process west kit however knowing the calibre of process west I doubt it would be the oiled type

I've never seen anything but trouble out of the oiled filters on a maf based vehicle

Yeah I thought for sure that PW wouldn't include oiled K&Ns. But a a quick google search brought up this (off their own Website):

Cmon, I plainly got that arse about.
I was corrected. And again. Thanks!

Btw, anyone know if the PW inlet has air straighteners pre maf?
Personally, I love PW products. :good:

Hey guys,

Recently got my car tuned and my fuel consumption has been abnormally high 14-16 with mostly conservative driving and some highway driving.
Decided to do some logging and was wondering if I can get some opinions on my LV's.

Checked for pipe air leaks with carb spray but there were no obvious signs of a leak. Revs stayed the same and car idles smoothly.
I reset the ECU yesterday to see if the LV's change under purely low load so I can see if maybe there's an air leak only under high air pressure but no luck.

Car also runs smoothly and holds boost

My next check will MAF voltage and seeing if its dirty.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Its an PreFL 2006 STI with the following mods:
EJ207 short block swap around 2500km ago
3 inch TBE
AVO TMIC
Grimmspeed 3 port
Kobe intake
AVO air filter
Kobe 340lph fuel pump
Stock VF38 running at 18psi

This was yesterday's LV's of approx 1 month post tune

This was after I reset the ECU + 2 hours worth of conservative driving

Here is a log of a portion of the above drive if that helps.

I'd say you'd want to do a 1psi pressure test on your inlet with smoke or bubbles.
I have a basic kit in Melb.
Also log your inlet and exhaust avcs vvt angles, holding 1500pm in neutral and at cruise on freeway.

Ah sweet thanks, will definitely hit you up regarding that.

This is my log at holding 1500rpm in neutral, VVT columns are at the end:

EDIT: http://datazap.me/u/tkdbboy/

Will do the highway one next

Also two most recent LV's from this morning.
Haven't touched the car since my post above.
