In the interest of better scaling I made up a simple loom that would allow my AEM to talk to romraider via a 9 pin serial cable and a usb converter thing. See here http://highboostforum.com/forum/showthread.php/23902-How-to-AEM-UEGO-serial-output-%28to-log-your-AEM-wideband%29.
So now, I bought I a 9 pin to usb cable and for the life of me it doesn't flipping work. It is a computer or cable issue.

Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

from the top of my head....

What O/S? windows 7? if so? people have had problems with drivers, ports and connection issues...try xp if you can...

did you install the correct drivers? if any? does it show up on device manager? with no errors...

make sure there is enough juice coming from the usb? measure the voltage from the rs232 pins...

Thanks dude. Yeah, all the drivers are up to date, tried a few actually. I was thinking of springing for a more expensive cable at a reputable outlet, seeing if it works there, then not buying/returning the more expensive cable if it doesn't work.
With a bit of luck Coyote has all this up and running on his tuning computer and we will be away.

I installed mine to use just via cable. Have had dip shits like Tony (senator) and Mick (dr20t) telling me I'm an idiot for not having the gauge.

If anyone comes across a place that sells an Innovate LC-1 gauge separately to the kit please let me know!

Hey man thanks. What I'm looking for is just the gauge itself, I already have everything wired up to plug into the gauge!

I'd rather just the boost gauge that comes with the LC-1 as they were made for each other. I know it probably won't make as much difference but at least if it's all Innovate if something with the set-up becomes faulty or stops working I have a way of recourse.

So who’s the dip shit now??????

BTW I wouldn't trust that Dr20t, he’s been heavily effected by his addiction to corn juice lately.

Like I said, you are still both dip shits.

I've got Michael at Garage 88 looking into a rumor I heard that Defi might be releasing a proper wideband gauge, in which case I would be getting that!

As in it actually is a WIDEband. The current Defi AF gauge is not wideband.
