There is nothing wrong with ECUTEK other than it locks your ECU. A tune is only as good as the tuner !! I'd suggest you go to HPF as mentioned above and have them tune the car properly with ECUTEK. At the same time, I'd suggest trying to get a refund from MRT as you are not satisfied with the end product/result. Can't see why they wouldn't come to the party and try and rectify this. Any reputable business would.

If you plan on doing more mods and don't want to be tied down to a particular tuner, then get it removed.

Just curious, you got the tune done in Sydney now living in Melbourne?? When you say MRT, who and where?

HP-F no longer have EcuWreck dealer status so no software to remove it :)

Hi Guys,
I have actually just moved jobs and drive past MRT every day. I have been thinking about an MRT ECUTEK tune for my 08 GTB.
Glad i read this thread.....sounds like it saved me a lot of time and headaches.
Looks like i will be contacting Kido for a tune.
