I have an earlier version of the same one. Works fine on the wrx, but i can't get revs, boost, temp etc on the lib. Can read CELs, though.

beginner question but do you need any additonal software on your pc to read and reset parameters or is it included on the CD shown.
Could this also connect to an iphone with logworks or rev app

I got a USB one and it came with a limited version of some crappy software. The good software costs money. Unless you know other ways

Bluetooth ones work with Android phones (rev) but you need a wireless (wifi) one for iPhones.

I think only post 2006 australian cars are required to be OBD2 compliant -http://plxdevices.com/obd/

Bit late but I don't think there is a rev app for iPhones? Dynolicious is a pretty good one though.

My 02 Mazda SP20 had OBD2 so the 04 libs should have it too...

Can confirm that 08 lib has obd2
